You will be placed on the

pensionable establishment of the Colony

with the usual terms as to leave and pension,

and will be eligible for the grant of pension

in respect of your previous service in the

Falkland Islands if you retire from the

Colonial Service under pensionable

circumstances. The enclosed print shows

the rules as to leave and pension which

apply to officers of the pensionable

establishment, and also how your salary

will be paid in the Colony. In addition

to the temporary allowance on salaries

shown in Section 9 of the Print, a further
